L'unità d'ITALIA compie 150 anni

In concomitanza con la Festa della Repubblica Italiana, quest'anno ho preparato tre illustrazioni per il 150° Anniversario dell'Unità d'Italia, aventi come soggetto Cavour, Mazzini e Garibaldi. Seguite tutti gli avvenimenti a Torino per la grande festa.

For the Italian Republic Day, this year I prepared three illustrations for the 150th Anniversary of the Unification of Italy, which represents Cavour, Mazzini and Garibaldi. Follow all the events in Turin for the big celebrations.

Davvero piacevole l'ultimo lavoro per MONDADORI RAGAZZI.
Quando mi è stato proposto di illustrare la copertina di questo libro, dal tema esoterico e dove bisognava ispirarsi al mondo delle decorazioni delle carte da gioco, non ci sono stati molti dubbi. La grafica e l'illustrazione dei tarocchi, come quella delle carte da gioco, fanti, cavalli, coppe e denari, antri da fattucchiere, macchine Zoltar è un universo che mi ha sempre intrigato. Lo dimostrano anche i primi bozzetti fatti per la copertina... a cui poi ho dato una linea più sobria e femminile, ma senza perdere quel gusto magico.

When I was asked to illustrate the cover of this book, with the esotheric theme and where it must be inspired by the world playing cards's decorations, there were many doubts.
The graphics and illustration of the tarots, such as playing cards, jacks, horses, trophies and money, dens by sorcerers, Zoltar machine is a universe that has always intrigued me.
The show also my first sketches made for the cover ... which I then gave a more sober and feminine, but without losing the taste of magic.
